Overview

The Pulse Gateway is the central telematics hub for PressurePro's Pulse product line. It aggregates data from up to 22 wheel-position sensors and forwards it over LTE Cat-M1 to the PressurePro cloud.

Required Materials

  • Pulse Gateway (P/N PP-PLS-GW-4)
  • Wiring harness PP-HAR-08 (10-pin Deutsch)
  • 3M VHB mounting pad (included)
  • 5/16 in. drill bit and grommet for antenna pass-through

Mounting

Mount the gateway on the passenger-side dash pad, at least 6 in. from the windshield defroster vent. Ambient temperature must remain between -40°F and 185°F.

Power and Ground

  • Red: switched 12V (fused 5A) from the ignition circuit
  • Black: chassis ground, star-point at the firewall
  • Yellow: constant 12V (fused 2A) for over-the-air firmware updates

CAN Integration

Connect CAN-H (white) and CAN-L (blue) to J1939 pins C and D at the diagnostic connector. The gateway auto-negotiates baud rate at 250 kbps.

Activation

Scan the QR code on the gateway label with the PressurePro Installer app. Provisioning completes in 90–120 seconds. A solid amber LED indicates successful cloud handshake.
